Lunch & Learn: Build it Right the First Time

Presentation Synopsis – Build it Right the First Time: Lessons in Quality

This session highlights lessons learned from local projects through mini case studies showcasing real-world quality challenges, root causes, and solutions from select CSI Divisions across multiple project phases: planning, construction, and post construction / warranty.

Using these project experiences, we will identify the common quality challenges related to planning, design coordination, materials, workmanship, communication, and inspection – factors that directly impact project outcomes. These elements are core to a proactive quality management plan and part of our playbook to reduce rework, control unforeseen costs and delays, and deliver projects Built Right the First Time.

Attendees will leave with “stories from the trenches” they can use to advocate for quality, lead with confidence, and influence positive change on jobsites and within project teams.
