Professional Development & Education Committee
To provide resources for sharing educational programs, to provide educational opportunities and programming. Support the development of chapter members. Obtain and develop programs and construction related projects to educate members about different areas of the construction industry. The committee promotes professional and personal growth of our members.
Membership & Engagement Committee
The Membership Committee is one of the most vital committees in our Association. Our Bylaws state, “The Membership Committee shall be responsible for devising ways to increase and maintain membership in the Association”. The Chapter level is most important as it has the most direct personal contact with the members. To devise ways to increase and maintain membership in the Associations. Provide resources and best practices to engage members.
Women In Construction (WIC) Week Committee
WIC Week provides an occasion for the industry, and NAWIC especially, to raise awareness of the opportunities available for women in the construction industry and to emphasize the growing role of women in the industry. Each year the committee plans community service, panel discussions, and other events.
Community Service Committee
The Community Service Committee is dedicated to supporting and uplifting the surrounding community through volunteer initiatives, partnerships with local organizations, and service events. The goal is to create opportunities where members can contribute their skills, network, and energy while reinforcing NAWIC’s values of service, connection, and inclusivity in the construction industry.
Finance & Strategic Planning
The Finance and Strategic Planning Committees are key governance groups that oversee the organization’s fiscal health and guide its long-term growth and mission alignment. Works with the Treasurer to prepare the annual budget, audit financial records, and review expenditures; meets twice yearly.
